Comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious restaurant, a large bar area and twin saunas plus hot tub. Modern building with lots of light timber finish.

A lovely hotel situated quite high up the arabba valley, great views over the rest of the town.
Location:
While the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of arabba, there is a ski locker right at the base of the local chair lift. These have heated boot warmers for 3 pairs of boots and room for the skis. (There were some bigger lockers for different room setups I assume)
Food:
Breakfast was a buffet with a spread of cold meats and cheeses, cereals, cakes, bread, spreads etc as well as bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs. Tea (mostly Twinnings) and coffee were included.
This was generally good, but didn't change during the week, a rotation of different cooked breakfast options would have been nice.
Dinner was a 4 course meal with 3 of them having options to choose from the night before. (See attached photos for some example menus) The food was plentiful enough to fill hungry skiers and was generally pretty good with some interesting combinations. The food on their wednesday local night was particularly good.
There was also a set of 'welcome' drinks and canapes on Monday evening.
Staff/Service:
The staff were generally all friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the cleaners need to give more notice before entering your room to clean it!
Rooms:
Generally good, built properly instead of just trying to look fancy. Ours had a double/Austrian twin and a single bed; mattresses were firm but comfy, just what you need after a day of skiing.
The room also had a table with chairs, wardrobe and a safe (uses a key). The room also had a functioning TV.
The bathroom was fine, although the seals on the shower probably needed replacing. Towels were replaced regularly.
Misc:
WiFi was fine, faster than my home internet.
No sky sports etc, so limited ability to watch live sports.

Vado in questo albergo da anni e mi sono trovata sempre benissimo. Con mio marito ci torniamo ogni volta che possiamo. È molto comodo per sciare, in quanto il deposito sci è a due passi dagli impianti ed è raggiungibile a piedi. E trovare gli scarponi caldi è molto piacevole. La mezza pensione è ottima. Si mangia benissimo e la cantina vini è fornita di vini ben selezionati, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Adoro la spa panoramica in cui spesso mi sono trovata da sola ad ammirare le Dolomiti nell’acqua fumante e con intorno la neve. Nel corso degli anni ho visto continui miglioramenti e continueremo a tornarci.

Jezdíme zde už více než patnáct let a už nikam jinam se nám už nechce. Je tady vše co potřebujete na zimní dovolenou. Vynikající kuchyně, milá obsluha, vstřícní majitelé a skvělá lyžovala. Doporučujeme.

Wir waren diese Woche (Februar 2024) im Hotel Olympia zu Gast und verbrachten dort unseren Ski Urlaub für 7 Tage. Mein Freund und sein Vater kommen außerdem schon viele Jahre jeden Sommer ins Hotel Olympia zum Motorrad Urlaub. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Haupthaus, in dem auch die Rezeption und das Restaurant untergebracht ist, dort hatten wir unsere Zimmer. Außerdem gibt es noch Panorama Apartments im Haus darüber, bei denen man ebenfalls Halbpension oder nach Wunsch Selbstverpflegung wählen kann. Wir als Hotelgäste hatten Halbpension und waren damit auch sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück ist völlig in Ordnung, es gibt von Eiern, Speck, Kuchen über Brötchen und italienische Wurst und Käse oder Joghurt alles was man sich wünscht. Schade ist, dass es Kaffee nur aus zwei Automaten gibt, in Italien würde man gerne einen guten Kaffee aus einer richtigen Maschine trinken, einziges Manko beim Frühstück. Fürs Abendessen (5 Gänge) wählt man am Morgen die Speisen aus, 1. Gang ist Salat Buffet, der Rest wird serviert - alles sehr lecker und freundliches, Junges Personal beim bedienen. Preis Leistung für Übernachtung mit Essen ist im Vergleich sehr fair. Das Hotel liegt am Hang in Arabba in ruhiger Lage und verfügt über einen kleinen Wellnessbereich mit Whirlpool, Sauna und Ruheraum. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, man muss aber sagen dass alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und teilweise renoviert werden sollte. Kleinigkeiten wie, dass lange kein warmes Wasser beim duschen kommt können vorkommen. Großes Plus: das Hotel verfügt über ein Skidepot direkt am Skilift, was toll ist, weil man so nicht alles täglich mit schleppen muss. Die Gastgeber-Familie ist recht freundlich und Parkplätze am Hotel stehen zur Verfügung. Die Hausherrin, Katze Kitty hat an der Rezeption alles im Griff und begrüßt die Gäste immer sehr freundlich :-) kommen gerne wieder nach Arabba.

This is the second time that I've stayed here with my family and I will definitely come again. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is so polite, and the food was amazing. Great value for the price.

soggiornato per 3 gg e la mia camera n°228 aveva i seguenti problemi:- 1° giorno, al rientro nel tardo pomeriggio vado in doccia, acqua calda appena accettabile dopo averla fatta correre molto in attesa di averla più calda, non è mai arrivata.Terminata la doccia, avvisata la recption,mi rassicuravano che avrebbero provveduto.2° giorno, acqua con temperatura un pò più calda del giorno precedente.3° giorno identica storia del 1° giorno con in più il lavandino con il tappo di scarico bloccato trovato al mio rientro.Avvisata la recption per queste due anomalie.La mattina seguente, trovo la signora addetta alla pulizia delle camere e la informo del lavandino difettoso, ma lei risponde che ne era a conoscenza fin dalla mattina del giorno precedente ed aveva avvisato chi di dovere, quindi non hanno provveduto a riparlo(tempo di lavoro 10 minuti).La tv è posta in alto sopra un mobile,ma di fianco al letto, rendendo impossibile la sua visione se non ci si mette seduti.Nella stessa mattinata, nel lasciare l'hotel la signora addetta alla riscossione , dall'età apparente sui cinquant'anni, bionda, mi presenta il cartaceo del conto, quindi pago e lei si riprende il cartaceo e lo butta nel cestino.Alla mia richiesta di riaverlo, dice che non mi occorre, ma alla mia insistenza lo riprende e me lo consegna.Provo a salutarla, ma da parte suo, no ad un cenno di ringraziamento e di buon viaggio.Non mi vedranno più

The cleaner placed my toiletbag in the toilet and the aircondition was broken so we couldent change the temperature. It was unbelievable warm in our room. The wifi is terrible. A lot of lights and are broken. Our door doesn’t close properly. The cleaner broke in even when we look our door from the inside.

Posto bello, eravamo della dependance, molto bella e spaziosa, non adatta a persone con problemi di deambulazione, nella sauna dovrebbero errerci degli asciugamani, il servizio di trasporto fino all'albergo e fino agli impianti da sci, molto puntuale. La lista dei vini buona ma troppo cari.Colazione buona, personale simpatico e disponibile.

Das Hotel Olympia arbeitet mit der Wellness Residence Panorama zusammen. Den dortigen Gästen wird u.a. Halbpension angeboten. Von diesem Angebot haben auch wir Gebrauch gemacht. Allerdings führt das dazu, dass insbesondere beim Frühstück die Küche/der Service des Hotel Olympia völlig überlastet ist. Für geschätzte 100 Gäste stehen beispielsweise nur 2 Kaffeeautomaten zur Verfügung, die noch dazu oft ausfallen, was zu entsprechenden Wartezeiten führt. Am eigentlichen Frühstücksbuffet fehlte eigentlich immer irgendetwas, sodass man zig-mal zum Buffet gehen musste, bis man endlich alles hatte. Bis dahin war der Kaffee dann auch kalt...Solch ein Start in den Tag kann einem einen Urlaubstag schonmal ruinieren. Auch der allgemeine Service lässt meines Erachtens zu wünschen übrig. Zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes war der Weg vom Appartement-Haus zum Hotel teilweise sehr stark vereist. Das Eis muss ja nicht vollständig beseitigt werden. Aber anstatt den Weg ein wenig mit Splitt zu streuen, wurden lediglich Schilder "Vorsicht Rutschgefahr aufgestellt!". So war der Weg zu den Mahlzeiten sehr abenteuerlich. Aufgrund der warmen Temperaturen war das Eis immerhin ab Mitte der Woche geschmolzen. Insgesamt war die Atmosphäre nicht sehr persönlich. Check-in/Check-out für das Appartement-Haus erfolgt ebenfalls im Hotel. Die Vorgänge werden sachlich abgewickelt. Von anderen Unterkünften bin ich es gewohnt, dass man herzlich Willkommen geheißen wird oder das bei der Verabschiedung seitens der Unterkunft zum Ausdruck gebracht wird, dass man sich auf einen erneuten Aufenthalt freut. Das war hier nicht der Fall. So gewinnt man keine neuen Stammgäste.

I have experience with this hotel for many years. Staff seems to be new and their system should be improved. There are still confused during dinner what was the order, what to bring and whom. However we announced gluten free food many days before, for themit was a surprise every day. Dinners were ok in the end but breakfast was a problem. Gluten free bread was not possible during all our stay. But the atmosphere overall was great, accommodation in cosy rooms, everything in order.

Bis zum Skidepot sind es ca 500 m. Ist nur ca 40 m vom Lift entfernt. Hier hat jedes Zimmer einen eigenen Spind für zwei Paar Ski und Schuhe.

Wir haben während einer Dolomitenrundfahrt mit dem Reisebus einfach, aber sehr fein zu Mittag gegessen. Grosse Portion zu gutem Preis. Es ging alles speditiv.
