BONNEVILLE SPEEDWAY

It is possible to see the desert in its western end, shortly before the Nevada border. Here, there is no Visitor Center: you just have to follow Interstate 80 until a rest area is indicated. After having parked your car on the parking lot, you are free to wander around the salt formations as you wish. An absolutely sumptuous site at sunset, which is worth the detour. At the same place, the Bonneville Speedway is a track where vehicles of all categories come to try to break speed records every year.
