Vail is spread over 8 different stations connected to each other by ski lift (Golden Peak is accessible via the city's free shuttle). It has 31 ski lifts and 195 tracks, 18% of which are reserved for beginners, 29% for intermediate skiers, 28% for confirmed skiers, 25% for expert skiers.
Northwoods. One of the most popular stations, easily accessible to the day.
It's mid-moltains. The ideal for children, Chaos Canyon and Porcupine Alley are particularly popular with young skiers.
Game Creel Bowl. The most accessible station with trails for all levels.
Sun Up and Sun Down Bowl. Offers panoramic views of the valley.
China Bowl. Known and named as limestone reminding the first skiers of Vail the Great Wall of China.
Siberia and Mongolia Bowl. Unspoiled slopes reserved for the most experienced skiers.
Blue Sky Basin. The meeting space, the station is known for its wild landscapes.
