Naturally, you will be able to swim in the area. There's a bit of choice. On the public beach of the village there is a hotel-restaurant with sun loungers and umbrellas (5 TYR) and a campsite. There is a reggae festival at the end of July and beginning of August. For more peace and quiet, just follow the old coastal road to the west and you will quickly find beautiful little swimming spots (sand or large flat rocks). You can also spread your towel in another small cove just east of the public beach.
