Opened by the Bahraini Ministry of Defense, this museum bears witness to the Kingdom's military history, from its foundation to the present day. The exhibits are spread over two floors and 13 rooms. The most famous room is somewhat reminiscent of Versailles' Galerie des Batailles, with beautifully executed paintings depicting the archipelago's great victories of the 18th and 19th centuries. The other rooms feature medals and uniforms, the art of war cavalry and the active forts of the army, air force and navy.
