Travel Guide Kompong Phluk

Kompong Phluk is a group of three floating villages on huge stilts 6 to 7 meters high. It is located around a flooded forest that can be visited by boat in the rainy season and on foot during the dry season. Most of the inhabitants have a main residence on the mainland and come here only to fish. You can sleep in a guesthouse. The best way to organize yourself is to use a local agency in Siem Reap that will organize the round trip by car and the rental of a boat for the visit. Otherwise you can also find a boat on the spot. It takes about half a day to get there.
