This downtown pub has modern, cosy interiors in light shades, with a fireplace and big, soft armchairs. It's the place to go for a simple traditional dish or a drink in a friendly atmosphere. The extensive, reasonably-priced menu offers a bit of everything: cornish pasties, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pasta, salads, burgers, fish, meat and ploughman's. More than a dozen beers and ciders accompany the food. A good option for trying out some of the local specialities without breaking the bank.
