BEZMILIANA FORTRESS

This is the most emblematic monument of Rincón de la Victoria. Built from 1766 on order of Charles III, the function was to protect the city from the onslaught of pirates in addition to the military defences already existing in the sixteenth century and included the Almenaras towers: the tower del Cantal and the tower of Benagalbón, located on the coast. She is now an exhibition room.
