At the foot of the old bridge linking Čiovo to the Trogir peninsula, the Cicibela restaurant has taken up residence in an old car ferry docked on the Okrug side, which has been renovated in rustic marine style, with large wooden tables and benches. Here you'll love the simple, nourishing cuisine, the Adriatic plate (smoked ham, cheese, crudités), grilled meats in all their forms, fresh fish caught by the owner and his son, shellfish, BBQ meats and summer vegetables, mussels and French fries, squid ink risotto and pizzas.

Empty restaurant. 0 people. 25 free seats. We were 4 and chosen a table in a shadow. They said we cannot seat there it is for 8 people. But there were 0 guests! Empty. Terrible reaction.

Hidden gem we found on our last day. Excellent steak and lamb cutlets. This really is a lovely restaurant that you might not notice as it's down an alley and opens into a courtyard and a decent sized restaurant.

Ich hatte ein Rib Eye, das perfekt war. Auch meine Mitfahrer waren sehr zufrieden. Preislich war das Lokal im vernünftigen Rahmen.

Einen Abstrich gibt es im Nachhinein. Ich wollte im August 23 mit 50 Leuten reservieren. Erst wurde ich ewig hingehalten, dann wollte man pro Person 42 Euro für ein normales Menü. Ich habe dann noch etwas anderes gefunden, weil das meinen Preisrahmen gesprengt hätte.
