Located in an old attic dating back to the 1870s, this restaurant tries to recreate an "old Poland" atmosphere with rustic, country-style interiors. The cuisine is of course traditional, featuring old recipes straight from the Soviet era, and regional specialties. It's a very pleasant summer garden on the banks of the Brda River: ideal for fine weather. Last but not least, the Karczma Młyńska operates on two levels, each of which can accommodate 60 people, guaranteeing a degree of privacy.

This restaurant occupies a former attic in the old town, on the banks of the Brda River. From the outside, the warmth of Cesky Port is already apparent, with its red bricks, half-timbering and small dark wooden shutters. Inside, the restaurant resembles a modernized Czech inn. The whole is very warm, and in perfect harmony. The menu is based on Czech, Polish and Bavarian specialties, with a slight twist. Many families with children visit on Sundays.

A charming little address that has been in existence for almost twenty years, making the most of its pretty wooden chalet, obviously decorated in the rustic style of a mountain cottage, with its wooden walls, flowers and rural ornaments. If the name "De feu et d'acier" refers to a temple of Polish literature, it's to bring visitors back to the distant past of its recipes, immersing them in Polish and Lithuanian culinary traditions, with a wide choice of meat and game dishes.
