Probably the most popular address among locals. Hopes Burger Bar, which later opened other establishments (one in Greensboro and one in Chapel Hill) was voted the best burger restaurant in the USA by Tripadvisor in 2015. It is in a bar-type room with high circular tables that people come to sit down to enjoy one of the many burgers on the menu. The leanest appetites will prefer the smaller version: 6oz, the most greedy the average: 8oz and the hungry will opt for the 12oz super buger. The garnishes are original and carefully cooked, the meat is excellent and the side dishes are varied (salad, classic fries, sweet potato, zucchini or other vegetables). Also à la carte, vegetarian burgers, salads and sandwiches.
