Ziegler-Mauler: Alsace Grands Crus wines, Riesling, Sylvaner, Crémant tastings & guided walks in the heart of the terroirs
Philippe vinifies on 6 ha of plots on the Grands Crus Schlossberg (remarkable riesling!), Kaefferkopf, Schlossberg and Schœnenbourg. Some of the vines are 50 years old, the grapes are harvested by hand and the wines are aged on lees for 6 to 8 months... Of course, the estate is famous for its Riesling, but we also recommend the Sylvaner Vieilles Vignes 2017, the Crémant Brut Vintage 2015 aged on laths for 24 to 36 months or the Gewurztraminer Grand Cru 2019. Book also very pleasant and instructive walks with commentary on the paths of the Grands Crus.
