PRAIA DA GALHETAS

Galhetas is a beautiful naturist beach, well preserved behind a hill. From Barra, you can hike to the top of the hill. After crossing the pedestrian bridge over the canal, walk along the canal to the right and follow the path uphill. A 360° view embraces the whole island, particularly the Praia do Moçambique in the extension of Barra to the north, the Joaquina dune and the Praia de Campeche to the south, and the town of Conceição de Lagoa to the west. You can then walk down to the beach. Allow 1h30 for the walk.
