Like many of the surrounding towns, Benissanet was a strategic point in the confrontations of the Battle of the Ebro. The Font Gran refuge, discovered a few years ago, was built by the Republicans and the inhabitants of the village, helped by twenty young people aged between 14 and 18 years old. Five women share their memories of the war in a video projected at the end of the visit. A visit that will interest history lovers.
