BUNKER DELS REGUERS

The bunker dels Reguers is a defensive construction that was part of the system of permanent fortifications called " Línea fortificada de la Cabeza de Puente Riba-roja-Flix-Ascó" . It had a double function: to control the surroundings of the river to prevent a possible attack during the Spanish Civil War and to defend the railway. The Reguers Bunker is the best preserved building of its kind in the region and is open to visitors. A historical site and soon to be centenary!
