With a panoramic view of the Ebro valley and the mountains beyond, accompanied by a Mediterranean breeze, this vineyard is an ode to Catalonia. The vineyard is composed of 18 hectares planted on a typical Priorat slate soil. The estate produces great red wines with intense aromas such as Clos Figueres, made from old vines of more than 80 years. The winery offers tastings and a charming terrace for dining. The kitchen specializes in local and organic products of the highest quality, including Catalan tapas.

CLOS MOGADOR

Le Clos was created in 1989 by René Barbier, a Frenchman from the Vaucluse. The 20 hectares of vines are spread over a soil of schist and quartz, typical of the Priorat D.O.C. appellation. The vineyard is a veritable Garden of Eden. Permaculture and multiculture offer a lush biodiversity: almond trees, olive trees or cereals grow in symbiosis to offer exceptional wines, such as the Clos Mogador 2018, a red aged 20 months in oak barrels. Its powerful aromas are reminiscent of plum or kirsch. Enjoy with orange braised veal roast.
