CAVE-HOSPITAL OF SANTA LLÚCIA

One kilometer from the village there is a vast shelter made of conglomerates. A spring of drinking water gushes out inside and legend has it that it has the miraculous property of curing eye problems, hence the choice of Saint Lucy as the protector of the place. The history of this cave goes back a long way since a flint dating back to the Paleolithic period was found there. In 1938, just before the Battle of the Ebro broke out, it was turned into a makeshift hospital by the Republicans.
