La Bisbal de Falset is located in the extreme northwest of the Priorat region, on the other side of the Montsant massif. This village of 270 inhabitants is a good base for visiting the massif and is also well placed for visiting the nearby Terres de l'Ebre. There is a very good bed and breakfast and a cave (located 1 km from the town center) with a spring that is said to have the power to heal the eyes. This same cave was transformed into a makeshift hospital by the Republicans in 1938, just before the Battle of the Ebro broke out
