A nesting area with colonies of terns and gulls that alternates between sandy beaches and natural bays

A long tongue of sand that stretches out towards L'Ampolla, this 410-hectare peninsula (6 km long and 3 km wide) alternates sandy beaches, dunes and natural bays. It is an important nesting area where colonies of terns and gulls live. It is in spring, nesting period, that we can observe the most marine species. Some people say they have seen mirages in this sandy desert when the sun is at its strongest. If you like walking, go to the lighthouse to enjoy the quietness of the place.

Langue de sable du delta de l'Ebre en bord de mer, belle ballade dépaysante de 2-3 km.
L'accès pédestre se fait depuis le restaurant Vascos, parking où l'on laisse la voiture.
La route qui y mène traverse des beaux paysage de rizières du delta.
