1. Enjoy the passages of terror

Planning a stay at PortAventura World during Halloween allows you to take advantage of exceptional facilities, including the famous passages of terror. Installed throughout the complex, these passages invite you to take courage and cross them, eventually rejoining the world of the living. Various themes are explored. The Festival of the Dead and the wrath of the Mayan gods in Mexico with La Muerte Viva. A world of pirates and phantasmagorical castaways that sees the Caribe Aquatic Park transformed into a veritable horror zone, with 1,000 m of passageways and over 90 characters inviting visitors to experience a waking nightmare in La Isla Maldita. But also the most emblematic horror films of the REC® saga with REC® Experience - the longest enclosed passageway in Europe - or a terrifying musical world in the heart of the Far West with Horror in Texas. In each case, spine-chilling scenery, terrifying characters and a healthy dose of emotion. And children, too, are entitled to their share of terror. With Truco o Trato, they can look forward to a frighteningly fun experience.

If you'd like to try out one or more passages of terror, you can book your Halloween Passport online in advance. This special Halloween offer gives access to 2 or all of the passages, at a discounted rate.

Let's not forget to mention that for this new edition, visitors have the opportunity to discover a brand-new fright zone: La Maldición del Emperador. Accessible free of charge at China Baja on weekends, public holidays and the most important days of the season, this is an open-air trail during which 20 terrifying characters attempt to make contact with the public. Who will dare?

2. Halloween shows

The park's various themed zones host a variety of chilling Halloween shows. In the Great Imperial Theatre of China, Halloween Factory is a family favorite, with dancing, acrobatics and songs that are sure to get stuck in your head. In the Far West zone, Vampires blends music, choreography, horror and humor. A show in which vampires are on a quest for human flesh, while a hunter and his assistant seek to exterminate them. Vampires also conquer the West with Bang Bang Halloween. During this show, special effects and cartridge shots are in full swing! Meanwhile, the Mediterrània zone comes alive with its Horror en el lago show, during which all manner of strange phenomena occur. It's hard to keep calm when monstrous figures emerge from the lake! We can't stress this enough, but PortAventura World is dedicated to pleasing families of all ages. In the SésamoAventura zone, children and their parents can enjoy the Ya es Halloween en SésamoAventura show. The program includes a colorful world, music and dancing in which everyone is invited to take part, in the company of The Count and Sesame Street® characters. Whether you're with friends or family, your experience won't be complete without a Halloween show!

3. Enjoy an immersive experience in the heart of the decorations, and take home a souvenir!

If a trip to PortAventura World is unique at Halloween, it's because the atmosphere is so exotic. The park is decorated with thousands of pumpkins, spider webs and special lighting. Everything is done to create an immersive experience that will remain engraved in visitors' memories. The complex's hotels and restaurants also lend themselves to the game, with superb decors and a revamped catering offer. Parents and children who want to dress up, play pranks or take home a souvenir can visit the Tianguis du Monde de México boutique. Among other things, they'll find some wonderful scary costumes! And there's no need to bring your bags into the park. You can leave them there and pick them up at the end of the day.

PortAventura World at Halloween time also features street entertainment and strolling shows throughout the day. In the evening, the Halloween parade enchants with its various characters, carriages, dances and lively music. It's a great way to get ideas about when to visit PortAventura World this year!
