CA THE IXART

The Ca l'Ixart is a stately home in Plaça del Pou (built in the Middle Ages and enlarged several times in the 17th and 18th centuries) facing the present-day town hall. It is noteworthy for its imposing watchtower decorated with sgraffiti from 1777, as well as for the cherub on the side of Carrer del Forn, which dates back to 1767. At the top of the tower there is also a pot that, according to tradition, should be filled with coins to protect the household. In the patio there is a well.
