BEACHES

The string of three beaches totalling 7 km in length and located 3.5 km from the town center is undoubtedly one of the main tourist attractions of El Vendrell: Sant Salvador, Coma-Ruga and El Francàs. Sant Salvador is the best known, due to its urbanization and the presence of the Casals Auditorium. Coma-Ruga is home to the Masia Blanca marine reserve, which is home to about half of the animal and plant species of the Catalan coastline, while El Francàs beach, which is almost 2 km long, is the quietest.
