Discover the 11th century castle located in the Serra de l'Albera Natural Park through guided tours on weekends
Close to La Jonquera, this 11th century castle is located in the Serra de l'Albera Natural Park and at 511 metres high it dominates the surrounding area. Its creation is part of the struggle for the county of Roussillon. All granite, this monument of very large dimensions includes a triple wall with round and square towers and houses a chapel inside. It was notably used as a setting for the filming of Tom Tykwer's The Perfume. You will be able to discover it on weekends, via guided tours.
