CITY CENTER

Ilulissat is a charming little town full of magical little corners to admire icebergs but also some historical buildings including the old wooden church (Zions Church) built at the end of the 18th century or, just behind, Rasmussen's house next to a reproduction of a peat house and a whale's bone jaw. Going under would bring good luck! The kayak club next door is worth a visit to observe their construction but also their launch.... A 2-hour guided tour is offered by several agencies.
