This small museum is entirely dedicated to one of the legendary figures of Catalonia, Count Arnau. Presented from different thematic angles - archaeological, literary, mythological and historical - the history of the man and his castle, Mataplana Castle, is explored. Amongst other things, it includes various elements from the 12th-13th centuries discovered during excavations in the ruins of the castle, including a tin diptych, an ivory chess piece and a letter stamped with the papal seal.
