A sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary offers an impressive view of the surrounding mountains
This sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary is 1 400 metres above sea level and offers an impressive panorama of the surrounding mountains. A restaurant with a large terrace is located there. Just before you access it, we pass through a small excavation carved in the stone, topped with an impressive number of offerings: that of its walls silicone a water deemed miraculous for the eyes… Moreover, the staircase leading to the summit, to the church Sant Pere de Montgrony, would, according to legend, have been built by citizens made slaves by the ruthless Earl Arnau.
