BELVÉDÈRE DE RAMINHO (MIRADOURO DO RAMINHO)

This is an unmissable lookout with a breathtaking view! Well signposted a few kilometres from Raminhos, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the northwest coast and even as far as Biscoitos, if you go a little further along the grassy esplanade. The blue of the ocean, the green of the meadows, the white of the foam and the black of the basalt stones make up a delightful landscape for the eye. You can walk a few hundred metres down the path to the left to reach a lookout, from which whales used to be spotted, and which today is a good vantage point for contemplating the birds and the sea all around.
