RIO ON POOLS
An extremely long waterfall that slopes gently down the mountain into natural rock pools
Rio on Pools is a funny waterfall, extremely long as it gently slopes down the mountain into natural rock pools, where it's nice to cool off after a visit to the Caracol site in the early morning. The name comes from the English "river over pools" and perfectly describes the place. Agencies on their way to Caracol are happy to stop here. It's a pity to find garbage left by visitors at gathering points in the middle of nowhere.
