BELIZE BOTANIC GARDENS

18 hectares of Cayo District biodiversity await you in this magnificent botanical garden. You can get there on your own, or take advantage of the twice-daily shuttle service from downtown. Convenient for those without a car. More than 2,000 species of trees and plants can be seen here, including around a hundred different species of orchid, as well as plants used by the Mayans in their daily life, rituals and medicinal products. A beautiful project, to be explored on foot along the kilometers of prepared trails.
