CHAYA GARDEN ASHRAM

This ashram, located about 15 minutes from the city center, offers a spiritual and meditative experience in a beautiful natural setting. Run by Laine Hoogstraten and Evan Anderson, two Canadians who fell in love with Belize several years ago, the full package includes meditation and yoga classes, delicious vegan meals, sightseeing, relaxation and massage. In addition to this already full program, you can also book special treatments using local herbs, kombucha (fermented tea) preparation courses, or healing sessions. You don't need to stay at the ashram to take advantage of these activities. Zen, let's be Zen!
