SAN PEDRO LAGOON-REEF ECO-CHALLENGE

This eco-competition, part of Reef Week, is a 2-day kayak race starting on the lagoon side of Ambergris Caye, then crossing the various lagoons in the north of the island, to Robles Point where everyone camps before setting off again the following day for San Pedro. 2 rowers per kayak and a 42-mile course celebrating the symbiosis between Ambergris Caye and the world's second-largest reef.
