The golden sandy strip of Lacona extends over more than a kilometre (it is indeed one of the longest beaches on the island of Elba), within a beautiful gulf that protects it from the winds (only those from the south arrive) and gives it almost the air of a lake with its calm water and the green nature that seems to close in on it. Facing south, it faces the island of Montecristo. Watching the sunset from the terrace of the Ledo bar (located east of the beach), which overlooks the Gulf, promises an unforgettable moment.
