The large beach of Margidore represents a good alternative to that of Lacona.

Right next to the famous beach of Lacona, from which it is separated by the peninsula of Capo Stella, the large beach of Margidore (about 700 meters) is covered with sand and a multitude of small pebbles polished by the waves. Less frequented, this beach represents a good alternative to Lacona. It is also easily accessible by car. The beach is free, therefore free of charge, except for its central part, attached to a hotel where a bar-restaurant is available. Facing south-east, it is located at the eastern end of the coastal road to Lacona.
