Kap Zwenkau is the new port of Zwenkau, inaugurated as the lake in May 2015. It is located at the north end of the Leipziger Strasse, because it was in the past the direction of Leipzig. Mining activity undermined the road of a huge crater, and then the lake replaced it. This is no longer the direction of Leipzig, but a brand new port has emerged on the lake! With its marina, its gastronomic establishments, its nautical clubs, its beach, and so much to build, Kap Zwenkau is on the way to becoming the ultimate Du Neuseenland. Dominating the port, the building said Kap Zwenkau was the first built. With its many floors and terraces offering fantastic views of the harbour and lake, it is a centre of exit, with restaurants and shops. On a whole floor extends the very interesting Ausstellungspavillon, an exhibition that recounts the history of the mine and then the realization of the lake. With many photos, you will have before you, reconstituted, the incredible history of birth, among the dust of the mine, of the Kap Zwenkau.
