This gondola lift takes 18 minutes to reach the island's highest peak, Mount Capanne. 55 two-seater cabins (beware of vertigo) take you up to the station at 950 m, from where, in fine weather, you can enjoy superb views of Elba, Gorgona, Capraia, Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio, Corsica and the Etruscan coast... A terrace overlooking the Tuscan archipelago! Good to know: there's a bar-restaurant at the starting point, as well as a refuge at the top of the trail.

Aboard this recently renovated, open-air gondola, you'll marvel at the splendor of Elba and neighboring islands such as Pianosa, Capraia, Montecristo and Corsica. You're sure to experience some magical moments. Trekking enthusiasts can continue their adventure by exploring one of the trails leading down from Monte Capanne to Marciana. Once at the gondola departure station, you can enjoy a gourmet break in the restaurant run by chef Giorgio Costa. There's also a bar where you can enjoy a drink in a pleasant atmosphere.
