This gondola lift allows you to reach the highest peak of Elba Island, the mythical Monte Capanne, in 18 minutes.

The cable car takes you to the highest peak on the island, Mount Capanne, in 18 minutes. 55 cabins with two standing places (beware of vertigo!) lead to the station located at 950 meters, from where you can enjoy a superb view of Elba, Gorgona, Capraia, Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio, Corsica and the Etruscan coast in good weather... A show that is worth the trip. Good to know: at the starting point, a restaurant, just like the refuge at the top at the arrival.

Zügig gewandert ist man auch in knapp 1h15 min oben und die Wanderung ist wirklich schön! Wollten es uns aber nicht nehmen lassen, dann in diesen Körben nach unten zu fahren. Ist klar ein Erlebnis, aber für eine einfache Fahrt EUR 20 zu verlangen; das bezahlen wirr auch in der Schweiz????

Great cable car. Long ride about 30 minutes. Beautiful scenery. "Cages" for 2 people. Super view on top of the mountain, you can see the whole Elba island 360 degrees

Wenn man hochläuft ist man am Morgen noch recht für sie alleine. Die meisten fahren mit der Gondel oder laufen nur hinunter.
