San Javier is a very pretty village located in an oasis perched in the mountains. On the beautiful road that leads to it, one passes a few family-run ranchos that open their doors to visitors. The village is known for having a beautiful Jesuit mission, and also a four hundred year old olive tree. The atmosphere of the village, bordered by fields and irrigation canals, is conducive to relaxation. Nevertheless, it comes alive once a year at the beginning of December, with thousands of visitors for its patron saint's day.
