You will be even more surprised by the inhabitants than by the monuments of this town. Some women, most often elderly, wear a mask with rigid reinforcement on the face. Black or gold, it hides their nose. A walk in the city, however, is also an opportunity to discover the typical architecture of the Gulf region, with raw brick houses surmounted by badgirs. These huge excrescences placed on the roof of the houses allow to air the interior of the houses. Note, mosques, also in brick, sometimes adorned with discrete ceramics. A simplistic style that contrasts with the rich decor of religious buildings in the rest of the country. The two main streets of the city are perpendicular: Rue Khomeini runs along the coast, and Enqelab Street concentrates bank, restaurant and travel agency. Both arteries intersect in front of the port. The bazaar lies east of Enqelab street. Not far from it, it is worth a detour. With these few masked women, it is a good introduction to Bandar Abbas and Minab. From Bandar-e Langeh you can go to explore the island of Kish.
