CHATENOIS est un très joli village fortifié, qui a conservé une grande partie de ses remparts, une belle église avec sa toiture verte, et une tour sur laquelle est niché un couple de cigognes.
Outre la fête des ménétriers, il s'y déroule également le premier week-end de juin, le slow up, qui consiste en une ballade, à vélo, poussette, rollers à travers les vignobles, jalonnés de points de dégustations locales, le tout dans une ambiance joyeuse et conviviale.
