EXCELSIOR HOUSE

One of Jefferson's two historic hotels, Excelsior House has been welcoming visitors since the 1850s. It is said to be the oldest continuously operating hotel in Texas. Famous people such as Oscar Wilde and Northern General Ulysses S. Grant have stayed there. Grant.
