Connected to the Department of Theatre and Performance at Texas State University in San Marcos, this theater offers, to our surprise, very high quality theater to a very diverse audience. Not only do they host theater performances, but also jazz concerts, dance performances, choirs, symphony orchestras, and the list goes on. In particular, it specializes in celebrating African American and Latino playwrights, among their eight to ten shows produced per season. We recommend.
