5 km from the town, the oldest remains of this town, dating from the Chalcholitique (the third millennium BC), are located in the first Gisement I deposit, and account for a larger period for the second, Castillejo II, which houses vestiges from the Neolithic (4 ^{th Millennium BC.) to the Romans.
