This church, dedicated to Saint Albane, is built of Chevroches stone in the neo-Romanesque style of the 19th century
Built in 1865, this church overlooks Lormes and the surrounding region at an altitude of 455 m, offering visitors a superb panoramic view. Dedicated to Saint Alban, it is built in the neo-Romanesque style of the 19th century. Its sobriety enhances the beauty of the capitals. Designed by the sculptor Guillaumet, they depict episodes from the Old Testament. The ambulatory opens onto 3 chapels, one of which, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is adorned with murals. Note also the fine stained-glass windows by master stained-glass artist Lobin, often depicting the patron saints of their donors.
