First of all, Hala is just one of these small national roads, where gas stations grow like mushrooms. But its tranquillity, its small covered market, its craftsmen that you can observe at work make this small town of about 200 000 inhabitants an extremely pleasant stage. The fields stretching out of sight are stained by the traditional attire of women who sometimes work under a sun of lead. Hala is mainly known for his local craft. Do not hesitate to visit the workshops where the Ajraks are made (typical fabrics typical of the Sindh region), the mosaics, which you will find on almost all the Sufi temples in the region, the pottery or the charpoys (braided traditional bed) carefully painted. Another strong point, the mausoleum of the Saint Poet Sufi Abdul Latif Bhittai in the nearby town of Bith Shah is probably one of the most astonishing in the entire region.
