ACOMA SKY CITY VIEWPOINT

As you leave Acoma Pueblo to the north on Indian Service Route 38, you will cross a rise to the top of a rocky mountain at the top of which is a parking area overlooking the Acoma Pueblo Valley. Already, this is an extremely scenic viewpoint. Be careful, the wind is very strong here, so it's not necessarily ideal for picnicking. Often, residents of Acoma Pueblo are there to sell pottery and traditional ceramics to passers-by. This is a great opportunity to meet the locals and take home a souvenir.
