Had a 10 day stay here everything was ok but the hot and cold water ratio. I would have to adjust it every 15 secs.

We did not go here, but good ol' Google will not give me that option, so here is my worthless review. Now stop asking me...

Upon entering the room, I noticed that the bed did not have a sheet. Despite calling the front desk to request either a bed sheet or a room change, no action was taken to resolve the issue. Furthermore, the next morning, when I attempted to use the iron to press my shirt, I discovered that it was not functioning properly.
Even the management was not responsive at all after reaching out to them!!!

The property itself is really nice, with full restaurant and bar. Plus well situated near 101. First time I have a great experience, received an upgrade. 2nd and 3rd time, most of the front desk and restaurant staff is distinctly unfriendly or snooty. Here’s an exchange from last time I checked in: “I was wondering …” She immediately interrupts to say, “Whatever your question is, the answer is no.” She wasn’t trying to be humorous, she was truly that annoying. Next check-in I ask to be upgraded bc hotel is not heavily booked. She tells me I need to reserve a better room to get an upgrade. I’m in my 50s and I travel frequently so I’m used to being upgraded when there’s availability, that’s what happened first time. But nope, had to haggle for better room. Restaurant wait staff will barely engage with you.

That and the propeller planes buzzing in frequently really kill the experience.

$30 Parking and $20 Amenity Fee buried in the terms and conditions. Rooms are fine, bathtub a bit dated. Just calculate an extra 50 bucks for whatever price you paid and that's the real price.

I had booked a room here on airbnb and paid the fee and still They charged my card 346 as soon as i arrived and claimed to be an accident . I had plans for that money with my wife for our anniversary and now they are ruined! They are saying they will return the money but the point is i wont get it for another 3-5 business days and today is the weekend and now i dont have sufficient funds as expected because the hotel over charged us? Worst service and when i tried to call someone to present the situation they got the call and got irritated for me complaining that they didnt do their job right. Front desk is rude and unprofessional

Sucks I wasn’t white to experience the full 5 star experience as the rest of the reviewers. Very clean and great views. Close to where we needed to be and price was fair. You can hear the change in tone from the white daily in front of us than when greeted myself and my son. If my 11 year old asks “why is she mad?” You know it’s obvious. Cleaning staff were very friendly, go figure, they’re Hispanic as well. Looking past that, beautiful hotel and we still had an awesome father/son trip.

Flight to SFO delayed, called Grand Bay to alert about late check-in and possible cancellation, told I had til 6pm to cancel. Flight got cancelled, called Grand Bay at 4pm to cancel room, was told I'd be charged full price because I had to cancel before noon! Charged for room and additional $18.95 for unknown reason. Called hotel to ask for receipt to submit to my employer, was refused!! So bizarre!

This hotel has a great view of the lake and has trails that are nearby for a walk ????‍♂️ or a good run ????‍♀️. The location is not close to any restaurants. The salmon dish I had was very good and not overcooked.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. I stayed one night as I was traveling for business- my day was long and I turned in to go to bed early. As I went to get into the bed I could see some gray spots on the mattress which I began to examine. I realized whatever it was, was actually under the fitted sheet and there were multiple spots. As I examined the sheet I could see that they resemble insects. I pulled up the fitted sheet and there were multiple dead insects under the fitted sheet. When I called the front desk the employee who answered was very un-phased and really not very apologetic at all. A woman came up with a key card to another room about 20 mins later and handed the key to me and walked away. The front desk did not call to ask how the room was , they did not say that the room was examined and when I checked out they did not offer any sort of comp on anything. With such a horrific discovery that really showed that the room was clearly not fully cleaned and turned over for the next guest I would’ve expect a much more hospitable response. I do not recommend this hotel at all. To top the whole experience a feed days later I received an email from the hotel explaining to me that they had someone come and examine the room and there were no traces of insects and when I responded and said that could not be possibly true I received no response. Don’t stay here.

The hotel is nice and has great amenities including the gym, pool, and the bar inside. The room was clean and staff was very friendly. With that said, beware when you book a reservation through a third party. They don't tell you that you still have to pay $30 parking/day and $20 for facilities use. The $20 are mandatory, whether you use the facilities or not. I'm also not sure whether they add the facilities if you book through them directly. I was told different amounts per different staff. So instead of paying the $138 that was advertised in the 3rd party app, I ended up paying $188 per night. When I called the hotel directly they told me it was $15 for facilities and when I arrived they said $20. I will note that I went to my car several times and, although it's a parking structure, I didn't see any security walking around. It's a nice hotel, especially if you get a room with a view (mine was overlooking the roof and had no view). But overall I'd recommend. Jose at the restaurant/bar provided wonderful service!
