JARDÍN BOTÁNICO DEL PLAN DE LA LAGUNA

It is located at the bottom of an extinct crater of volcanic origin, to the southeast of the town of Cuscatlán, over an area of about 3 ha. Winds can't stretch on the slopes of the crater, which favours interesting Scots vegetation. The last volcanic eruption in the th century transformed the lagoon into a kind of marsh zone. Pieces of petrified lava are visible in the garden.
