Restaurant serving traditional, bistro-inspired, home-cooked cuisine by chef Charles Guichard.
New to Decize, Le Baratie is helmed by young chef Charles Guichard, who graduated from the kitchens of Troisgros, then Marc Meneau in Saint-Père-sous-Vézelay and Decize chef Frank Rapiau. The menu features traditional, home-cooked cuisine, largely inspired by bistronomy. On our visit, we were delighted by a salmon gravlax marinated in blackcurrant, followed by a filet mignon of honey-mustard pork, finishing with an original West Indian floating island. Promising!
