Restaurant serving traditional, bistro-inspired, home-cooked cuisine by chef Charles Guichard.

New to Decize, Le Baratie is helmed by young chef Charles Guichard, who graduated from the kitchens of Troisgros, then Marc Meneau in Saint-Père-sous-Vézelay and Decize chef Frank Rapiau. The menu features traditional, home-cooked cuisine, largely inspired by bistronomy. On our visit, we were delighted by a salmon gravlax marinated in blackcurrant, followed by a filet mignon of honey-mustard pork, finishing with an original West Indian floating island. Promising!

Inacceptable
Poisson pas cuit, cuisinier (patron) comportement arrogant,narquois après lui avoir signaler que le poisson n était pas assez cuit,il l a repris, mis au micro-ondes 5 mn et rendu le poisson évidement toujours pas cuit,nous avons pas fini notre plat vu que même les légumes un petit quartier de choux fleur et une cuillère à soupe de purée de seleri le tout insipide comme le poisson la seule réflexion qu il a emit:c est moi le cuisinier...
Par contre la serveuse au top mais gênée de la situation vu que le restaurant est tout nouveau.
