With the creation of the Espace de cultures du Pays Nivernais-Morvan within the abbey premises, Corbigny has become an international cultural pole. From theatre to dance through exhibitions of plastic art and classical music, Corbigeoise cultural life is one of the most dynamic in the department, including Metalovoice, Teatr'Eprouvete and Surrounding Dreamers. With a professional dance studio, the abbey regularly hosts dance companies that often offer their first creations and also offer the public and school classes lessons once a week. In August, for years, the music festivals of Corbigny were held, eagerly awaited by the public of the intense musical moments of pianists, string quartet, copper quintets and other young artists from all over the world. This former Photosac factory located at the entrance of the city, and renamed La Transverse, is a place of artistic emulation for the Compagnie Métalovoice. It is also a place of residence and creation for the "Street Art" teams at the national and European level, and also a place for artistic presentation and support at the end of a residency. From June to September, the company offers, outside its walls, a rich programme of "street arts" shows in all the towns of the territory.
