THIRUNELLY MAHA VISHNU TEMPLE

Dedicated to Vishnu, this temple, representative of traditional classical Kerala architecture, attracts many pilgrims. It is the only temple in the world where devotees can perform all the rituals of life, from birth to death, and even the rituals for life after death. They are performed on the banks of the Papasini River, which flows from Mount Brahmagiri. Unfortunately, like most temples in Kerala, it is not accessible to non-Hindus.
